Finals Schedule
Finals are the week of 12/16.
Monday is your last full day of school. You do not have school on Friday!
You will then have 3 half days, with 2 finals each day. School starts at 7:20 and gets out at 11:35. Your first final of the day is from 7:20-9:35, and your second final is from 9:35-11:35. The buses will come around 12pm.
Tuesday, 12/17 - 5th period, then 6th period
Wednesday, 12/18 - 3rd period, then 4th period
Thursday, 12/19 - 1st period, then 2nd period
Then you're done! Merry Christmas!
PS - You need to let me know NOW if you have any complications with completing your final on the day it is scheduled. I will give you a 0 if you are not in class at the appointed time for your final.

Here are the steps explaining the Nebular Theory (the theory for how the solar system formed). These are the slides I printed out for you as the class set.

ES: Computer lab
We will be in the computer lab the next 3 days working on a simulation about plate tectonics. Here's the simulation if you get time at home if you miss any days and have internet to work on it at home. I think it needs Java to work, so may not work on your phones.

There was an issue in the copy room, so you got one extra day to study - LUCKY!

A: Moon Phase Packet
We've been doing the Moon Phase Packet in class the last two days, and will continue to through Monday at least. It's been a lot of interactive stuff in class, so if you need to come for tutoring, come during ECCAPP or after school! Remember, Moon phases are confusing so get all the help you can!!!!

We reviewed for the quiz on Thursday, and are taking the Quiz today! Get the study guide, or make up the quiz in class.

Students receive 30 points extra credit for attending a Star Party AND writing a 1-page, double-spaced, 12 pt font report about going to the event. You do not have to stay for the entire two hours.
